Systems Engineer Sr

Role overview Provide senior engineering and troubleshooting for endpoint and network infrastructure in a large, complex healthcare technology environment. The focus is on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and its interaction with network connectivity, software distribution, operating system deployment, patching, and cloud services. The role is remote and includes on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities - Plan and coordinate complex software installations, upgrades, migrations, and changes across distributed systems. - Configure and support virtualization and device-integration solutions, and help carry them through design, automation, testing, and deployment. - Troubleshoot across the technology stack, from desktops and endpoint services to wide-area networking, isolating integration problems and driving resolution. - Assess requirements and products, recommend technical solutions, and plan maintenance, testing, documentation, and training. - Monitor system capacity and performance, support backup and disaster recovery practices, and recommend architecture improvements. - Lead escalations with staff and vendors, perform root-cause analysis, communicate status, and mentor team members.
