About this role
Role overview The Head of GTM Systems & AI leads the technology stack that powers a learning platform's commercial engine, spanning CRM, marketing automation, customer success tooling, and AI agents used across sales, marketing, and services. The role combines systems leadership, AI product strategy, and people management, partnering closely with GTM leaders, data, enablement, and engineering to turn ambiguous business problems into scalable, adopted solutions.
Responsibilities - Own the internal AI operating model for GTM, including the library of agent skills, evaluations, cost, adoption, and ROI metrics, in partnership with data and enablement. - Set the long-term design of the GTM stack across CRM, marketing automation, and customer success tooling, deciding what to build versus buy. - Lead and coach five senior individual contributors across Salesforce, marketing/BDR, customer success systems, and web operations, holding a high bar for documentation, testing, and deployment. - Run vendor management end to end, including evaluations, quarterly keep-or-kill reviews, and renewals. - Prioritize initiatives by identifying the best solution to each business problem and sizing cost and feasibility. - Drive adoption and change management for new GTM capabilities across distributed commercial teams. - Ship at least one AI agent within six months that monitors business data and proactively reaches out to people, with a named owner and outcome metrics defined before launch. - Demonstrate measurable commercial capacity reinvestment within twelve months through what the team builds.
Requirements - Proven experience designing, building, and shipping AI agents and tools that integrate into real business workflows. - Strong understanding of the modern GTM stack, including CRM, marketing automation, customer success tooling, data enrichment, and web operations. - Background running vendor evaluations and managing renewals across a complex commercial software portfolio. - Ability to define KPIs, run experiments, and use data to prioritize investments and measure impact on pipeline, conversion, efficiency, and revenue. - Skilled at strategic alignment and executive communication, presenting conclusions first, naming trade-offs, and simplifying complex topics. - Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the first version of a strategy must be shaped, tested, and improved quickly. - Experience setting standards for documentation, testing, and deployment while coaching senior individual contributors. - Fluent English (US/UK) at B2 level or equivalent in French.
Nice to have - Enthusiasm for a collaborative, learning-oriented culture with distributed teams across multiple geographies.
Benefits and work setup - Compensation package including base salary, a variable component, and equity. - Work-from-home perks, medical insurance, gym subscription, and one month of parental leave for the second parent. - Flexible hours with the option to work fully remotely from anywhere in Germany. - Active employee resource groups covering mental health, sustainability, women, parents, LGBTQIA2S+, and ethnic diversity, each with executive sponsorship. - Corporate social responsibility program with a published charter.
