Role overview
A principal, customer-facing technical role focused on bringing emerging identity and security technologies to market for an enterprise SaaS cybersecurity platform. The position works across Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Enablement, Sales, Customer Success, and strategic customers to validate new capabilities and turn what works into repeatable go-to-market motions.
Responsibilities
- Validate emerging technology capabilities with strategic customers and translate field results into product and go-to-market recommendations. - Help shape product direction by feeding customer and field feedback back into Product Management and Engineering. - Convert validated capabilities into repeatable, customer-facing motions and enablement for the broader field team. - Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on launches and adoption. - Influence and present to technical practitioners, senior executives, analysts, and strategic partners. - Travel up to 30% to support key customer engagements and team events.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS, including leading initiatives beyond an individual sales territory. - Track record of translating emerging technologies into customer value and clear recommendations that shape product or go-to-market direction. - Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to validate capabilities and incorporate customer feedback. - Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences alike. - Deep knowledge of modern identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows, including OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, APIs, MCP, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, AI agents, and modern cloud platforms. - Experience with MEDDPICC or a similar enterprise sales methodology, and the ability to work autonomously and influence without direct authority.
