Developer Intern, Front-End Platform - Winter 2027

Role overview Help a cross-functional frontend platform team make product development more consistent, efficient, and scalable. The team establishes shared frontend standards and tools, and maintains reusable interface components with guidance for their use. This is a four-month remote internship based in Canada or the United States, from January through April 2027.

Responsibilities - Build reusable React components from design specifications. - Integrate coded components into customer-facing applications. - Contribute to frontend development standards and recommended practices. - Develop or use tools that simplify the design and implementation of product features. - Collaborate with designers, developers, and colleagues across disciplines and locations.

Requirements - Willingness to take on new challenges and carry work through to completion. - Curiosity about improving processes and openness to learning from mistakes. - Collaborative communication and comfort giving and receiving feedback. - Interest in building maintainable, consistent frontend experiences.

Nice to have - Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or React. - Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design. - Exposure to Git, SSH, command-line tools, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud services.
