Founding Full Stack Engineer (Applied AI)

I'm recruiting for an early-stage Applied AI startup looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join a small, senior engineering team. You will work across the stack building AI-powered products and workflows for enterprise customers, with significant ownership over architecture, product decisions, and what gets shipped. Looking for: 5-7 years of full-stack engineering experience, strong Python / FastAPI backend experience, React or similar frontend experience, early-stage VC-backed startup experience, interest or experience in Applied AI, comfort working directly with enterprise customers, and being based in California (SF Bay Area preferred). Comp: $190K-$250K base + equity up to ~1%. Location: inside SF Bay Area (on site 1 per week), Remote within California (on site 1 per month). Visa transfers may be considered (only for people already located in the U.S.).
