Role overview
A Staff Product Manager is needed to lead vision, strategy, and execution for the Data Security capabilities of a large-scale cloud security platform. The role centers on Web DLP and Email DLP products, helping expand offerings that protect enterprise customers from cyberattacks and data loss. This is a hybrid position based in San Jose, CA (3 days onsite), reporting to the Director of Product Management.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Data Security products, including Web DLP and Email DLP offerings. - Define, document, and prioritize product requirements by synthesizing market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback. - Partner with Engineering, UX, Support, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to take ideas from concept through to successful delivery. - Support product deployment and sales enablement across beta and production environments in collaboration with Support, Operations, and Sales. - Drive and execute go-to-market plans with Marketing and Sales to ensure measurable adoption and product success.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies, with experience leveraging or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes. - 5+ years of product management experience delivering Cyber Security solutions. - Proven experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data classification products, including legacy tools and modern AI-based classification methods. - Strong technical foundation in Data Security, Email, Proxy, CASB, DSPM, and adjacent technologies. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to operate across technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience building a roadmap for Data Security, DLP, or advanced AI-based automated data classification solutions. - Technical degree or hands-on engineering background. - Familiarity with endpoint agents, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
Benefits and work setup
