Role overview
Deliver security consulting engagements for public sector customers, building tailored solutions and helping organizations strengthen their security posture. The role combines technical design and implementation with customer advising, documentation, demonstrations, and feedback to internal product teams. It is remote within the United States, with the Eastern Time Zone or DMV area preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted, long-term customer relationships and advise on security solutions suited to their needs. - Design and implement solutions involving software-defined wide area networking, cloud access security, shadow IT, and SaaS integrations. - Work with customer stakeholders to plan and introduce durable security processes. - Bring customer feedback to cross-functional teams to inform product development. - Create documentation, recommended practices, and demonstrations that support customer adoption and team growth.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, due to the assigned customer base. - Eight or more years of experience in network engineering, network security, or professional services. - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, or a related field. - Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN routing, HTTP proxy technologies, SSL interception, and BGP and OSPF troubleshooting. - Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust or DoD/DoW clearance or access, as required for the work. - Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning, with experience applying, securing, or positioning AI-enabled solutions in a relevant domain.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote U.S. role; Eastern Time Zone or DMV location is preferred. - The listing gives a base pay range of $143,500–$205,000 and describes health coverage, paid time off, parental leave, retirement options, education reimbursement, and other benefits. Pay depends on role-related factors.
