About this role
Role overview A customer-facing security and compliance role that helps field teams and prospects navigate regulatory and security frameworks during the sales cycle. The position blends advisory, enablement, and direct response work, mapping frameworks such as Zero Trust, GDPR, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA to platform capabilities and turning complex requirements into clear, deal-accelerating conversations.
Responsibilities - Represent the security-compliance practice directly with prospects and customers through calls, webinars, and conferences, framing compliance as a deal accelerator rather than a blocker. - Map compliance frameworks control-by-control to platform capabilities, using a documented methodology that clearly labels what is fully met, partially met, supported, or owned by the customer. - Build reusable playbooks and reference assets from deal experience so wider field teams can answer recurring compliance questions consistently. - Train sales engineers and account executives to handle routine compliance conversations themselves, keeping data security central to every discussion. - Serve as a first responder for vendor security questionnaires and customer assessments, completing them accurately and assembling supporting evidence without overclaiming coverage.
Requirements - Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and how they intersect with compliance and security domains. - Working knowledge of major global frameworks such as NIST, with the ability to build platform familiarity quickly. - Demonstrated experience presenting to senior stakeholders or speaking at industry events, plus a track record of creating enablement content. - Strength in distilling technical and regulatory detail into clear, actionable communication for non-technical audiences. - Pragmatic builder mindset with the ability to operate between strategy and hands-on execution.
Benefits and work setup - Remote position reporting to a Director of the global security-compliance practice. - Base salary range disclosed in the posting at $140,000–$175,000 USD, plus a benefits program that includes multiple health plan options, paid vacation and sick time, parental leave, retirement programs, and education reimbursement.
