Regional Director, Data Security - EMEA & APJ

Role overview Lead a regional team of data security specialist sellers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific Japan. The field-based director owns territory planning and sales performance while developing the team and coordinating closely with regional sales leaders, partners, and product organizations. The position combines people leadership, executive customer engagement, forecasting, and regional strategy.

Responsibilities - Recruit, hire, coach, and develop specialist sales talent, with individual growth plans and ongoing performance feedback. - Build territory plans and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. - Coordinate with regional and field sales leaders, marketing, and partners to support revenue goals. - Represent field needs to product management, product marketing, and services teams. - Engage customer executives and guide the team toward solutions that address customer needs.

Requirements - At least six years of full-cycle sales experience in software or security. - At least three years leading a team that sells data security solutions. - Experience managing sales teams across EMEA and/or APJ. - Track record engaging senior customer executives and closing complex deals. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. - Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning, including experience positioning, securing, or applying AI-based solutions.

Nice to have - Experience leading product specialist sellers or working as a specialist seller in a matrixed organization. - Recent data protection industry experience. - Strength in data-informed territory planning and management.
