Solutions Engineer

Role overview A Solutions Engineer role supporting the sales cycle for a cloud-native hardware design platform that blends CAD with AI-powered engineering workflows. The position partners with prospective and existing enterprise customers to translate technical requirements into practical integrations, lead proof-of-concept engagements, and hand accounts off cleanly into long-term adoption.

Responsibilities - Engage prospective and current enterprise customers to scope technical use cases built on top of the platform's APIs. - Build and deliver interactive, tailored demonstrations that communicate integration best practices throughout the sales cycle. - Lead requirements gathering and translate customer workflows into actionable product and architecture recommendations. - Run hands-on proof-of-concept projects aimed at surfacing measurable ROI outcomes. - Partner closely with account executives to advance and close complex enterprise deals, including deeper production contracts that follow a successful pilot. - Relay prospect and customer feedback into the product organization to inform roadmap decisions.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Demonstrated success in a customer-facing engineering role supporting technical sales to large enterprise accounts. - Working knowledge of CAD software and general mechanical engineering concepts. - Practical familiarity with APIs and emerging protocol standards such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP). - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools. - Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage executives and explain complex topics to mixed technical and nontechnical audiences, combined with sound technical judgment about current capabilities and limitations.

Nice to have - Experience navigating enterprise security, compliance, and ITAR-controlled data handling under established procedures.
