Remote job
GTM Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview
This role leads the GTM engineering function for a SaaS organization whose finance software runs natively inside NetSuite. The position owns the systems, data pipelines, integrations, and automation that power scalable pipeline generation, while bringing AI natively into core go-to-market workflows. The leader also guides the evolution of the BDR team from manual prospecting toward a more technical, systems-oriented operating model.
Responsibilities
- Design data flows that connect enrichment providers, internal sources, and AI to keep account and contact data accurate, using proper field mapping and data contracts rather than one-off scripts. - Integrate CRM, sequencing, marketing automation, and warehouse systems while evaluating new tools to prevent redundancy across the GTM stack. - Build inbound lead scoring, routing, and response workflows alongside outbound list building, enrichment, sequencing, and conversion tracking. - Translate ambiguous problems from sellers, marketers, and customer success team members into production-ready systems, including agentic workflows for enrichment, personalization, scoring, and rep productivity. - Run structured experiments across channels and workflows, measuring pipeline and conversion impact, retiring what does not work, and reporting on system performance through BI tools such as Tableau or Looker. - Coach the BDR team through its transition into GTM engineering, teaching workflow design and platform proficiency so teammates can build, maintain, and govern their own automations. - Embed safeguards up front for deliverability, data quality, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, with cost and performance guardrails on every system.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience personally building GTM automation and integrations, not only directing others. - Deep expertise in Clay or a comparable enrichment or workflow platform. - Strong Salesforce experience, including data governance. - Working proficiency in SQL, Python, or JavaScript sufficient to build and fix workflows independently of engineering. - Proven experience applying LLMs and agentic tooling to real revenue workflows. - Familiarity with a BI tool such as Tableau or Looker, sales qualification frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC, and multi-touch attribution. - Strong understanding of deliverability, data quality, and compliance requirements, plus a track record of mentoring teams and turning ambiguous business problems into working systems.
Nice to have
- Prior BDR or SDR experience.
Benefits and work setup
- Fully remote, globally distributed team with high-trust autonomy and no micro-management. - High-velocity SaaS environment that emphasizes ownership and continuous professional growth. - Equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. - For U.S. candidates, employment is at-will; outside the U.S., the role is offered as a fixed-term or permanent contract subject to local statutory terms.
