Tech Lead Backend (Node.js/ Nest.js)

Role overview Take technical ownership of backend systems for a live digital entertainment platform and its expanding product line. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership: you’ll guide architecture, support engineers, and drive initiatives from design through production, with a focus on systems that need to scale reliably and protect transaction data.

Responsibilities - Lead backend architecture decisions and development of high-load services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS. - Mentor backend engineers, review code, and establish sound engineering practices. - Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues to build reliable services. - Identify and address performance, scalability, and reliability issues. - Maintain data consistency in financially critical systems. - Coordinate with Product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver technical work through production.

Requirements - At least 7 years of commercial backend development with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS. - Strong PostgreSQL, SQL, and database optimization skills. - Experience designing backend architecture and supporting high-load production systems. - Experience with Redis, message queues, and event-driven systems. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments. - Previous technical leadership or team lead experience, with clear communication and ownership; English at B2 level.

Nice to have - Experience in online gaming, payments, wallets, transactions, or other financially critical systems. - Experience with third-party integrations or AI-assisted development tools.
