Senior Software Engineer, Identity

Role overview Build and improve backend services for a large identity platform that connects profiles and signals across many data sources. You’ll help evolve distributed systems and event pipelines to handle high volumes while keeping response times low, reliability high, and operations observable.

Responsibilities - Design backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations. - Improve event-driven pipelines that process billions of signals. - Deploy and operate cloud services on Kubernetes using Helm. - Maintain service and pipeline reliability, scalability, and observability. - Work with engineering, product, and data partners to deliver identity capabilities, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements - At least five years of backend or data engineering experience at enterprise scale. - Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in API design and distributed systems. - Experience with Kafka and streaming tools such as Spark, Hive, or Flink, as well as workflow schedulers such as Airflow or Luigi. - Experience deploying services on Kubernetes and AWS. - Knowledge of SQL, complex data modeling, and high-throughput NoSQL or columnar databases.

Nice to have - Experience building multi-tenant distributed systems or real-time streaming frameworks. - Familiarity with open table formats such as Iceberg, Hudi, or Delta Lake, and with security or privacy frameworks.
