Product Designer (UI/UX)

Role overview A remote-first product design role focused on shaping end-to-end user experiences for software products that ship at global scale. The designer partners closely with engineers, fellow designers, and product owners to translate user needs into polished interfaces, taking ownership of features across the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities - Lead the design of user interfaces and interaction flows from concept through high-fidelity prototypes and hand-off to engineering. - Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to define requirements, align on scope, and deliver cohesive product experiences. - Produce and maintain reusable UI components, design systems, and documentation that scale across multiple products. - Drive usability testing and incorporate qualitative feedback and quantitative data into iterative design improvements. - Champion design quality and consistency while mentoring junior designers and contributing to a healthy, collaborative team culture.

Requirements - Five or more years of professional experience in product design, UI/UX, or a closely related software role. - Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped interfaces and interaction design. - Deep proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools used for product UI/UX work. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suited to a distributed, remote-first environment. - Proven ability to produce clean, maintainable design artifacts and to mentor junior team members.

Nice to have - Background working alongside engineering teams on technical feasibility and implementation trade-offs. - Familiarity with design system tokens, accessibility standards, and responsive design patterns.
