AI Engineer (Logistics Automation)

Role overview Build and deploy AI systems that automate freight operations, from processing incoming emails and documents to supporting quoting and booking. The role combines agent design, retrieval and prompt workflows, production monitoring, and integration with an operational workflow engine.

Responsibilities - Develop AI agents that extract useful information from emails and documents. - Improve prompt chains and retrieval-augmented generation workflows for accurate logistics data. - Create evaluation and observability systems to track agent quality and reliability in production. - Integrate AI-generated outputs with the workflow engine in collaboration with software engineers. - Prototype agent capabilities for automated freight quoting and booking.

Requirements - At least three years building and deploying production AI or machine learning systems. - Strong Python skills and experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex. - Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent architectures. - Familiarity with AI evaluation and observability tools, such as Langfuse or Weights & Biases.
