Senior Python Developer

Role overview Own the Python services behind document verification, including OCR, face matching, and job orchestration. The work combines backend engineering with machine-learning-adjacent systems, running on GPU infrastructure to process identity documents and verification tasks.

Responsibilities - Maintain and optimize the Python OCR pipeline using a vision-language model for document text extraction. - Build and operate face-matching services using InsightFace and 512-dimensional embeddings. - Develop job orchestration for verification workloads using a queue system. - Support and improve services deployed on GPU infrastructure. - Take ownership of the reliability and performance of document-processing components.

Requirements - Senior-level Python development experience. - Experience building or operating production backend services. - Familiarity with OCR and document-processing pipelines. - Experience with face matching, embeddings, or related computer-vision systems. - Ability to work with asynchronous job queues and GPU-backed workloads.

Nice to have - Experience with docling VLM, InsightFace, or River.

Benefits and work setup - Full-time role, remote in the US or Europe. - Advertised salary range: $160,000–$210,000.
