Role overview
A hands-on data engineering role focused on executing data migrations within the iGaming sector. The position sits under an Architect and centers on building reliable, production-ready data platforms while addressing technical debt along the way. This is a pipeline opportunity rather than a single live vacancy, designed to match incoming talent with upcoming client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise data pipelines using AWS-native services - Diagnose and remediate technical debt across in-flight migrations - Stabilise platforms so they reach a production-ready state and hit delivery milestones - Partner with client engineering teams to transfer knowledge and ensure smooth handover - Support the Architect in shaping and implementing the target-state architecture
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the AWS data stack, including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lake Formation - Familiarity with Lakehouse patterns and modern data architecture - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL - Background working in regulated or high-volume data environments - Domain knowledge of betting and/or gaming

- Prior experience contributing to end-to-end data migrations - Comfort collaborating across distributed client teams
