Software Engineer - Console

Role overview Join a small, high-trust engineering team building an AI-driven offensive security platform that autonomously discovers, validates, and exploits vulnerabilities in widely used software. The work spans the full stack, from React frontends through TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go backend services deployed on AWS, all in service of turning cutting-edge AI research into real-world security impact.

Responsibilities - Design and ship full-stack features that connect React-based user interfaces to scalable backend services - Develop APIs and backend systems in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go, with attention to clean contracts and data modeling - Deploy and operate services in AWS and other cloud environments, including production support - Take ownership of open-ended problems from design through launch, navigating ambiguity along the way - Collaborate closely with AI researchers, security researchers, and fellow engineers across disciplines - Help shape engineering practices and tooling as the team scales

Requirements - Hands-on experience building and operating full-stack production systems - Strong proficiency with TypeScript - Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs - Solid backend development background in Node.js, Kotlin, Go, or comparable languages - Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with incomplete information - Clear, thoughtful communication and an appreciation for simplicity - Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment

Nice to have - Event-driven architectures, message queues, or async workflow experience - Iterative, feedback-driven frontend prototyping with React and TypeScript - Infrastructure-as-code familiarity (Terraform, CDK, or similar) - Postgres data modeling and query optimization - Systems programming, networking, or performance tuning background - Hybrid cloud and on-prem deployment experience - Prior work on security products or tools for technical users
