VP of Engineering

Role overview Lead engineering strategy and delivery for a client relationship and marketing intelligence platform that supports data management, reporting, forecasting, optimization, and insights. You’ll grow the engineering organization and its capabilities while partnering with product, data, security, finance, and business leaders. The role combines executive leadership with technical judgment on architecture, reliability, security, and critical issues.

Responsibilities - Set engineering direction and oversee architecture, delivery, quality, security, reliability, and budget stewardship. - Scale engineering teams, leadership structures, and development practices as the platform grows. - Build shared platform, tooling, and infrastructure capabilities that help teams deliver efficiently and safely. - Encourage effective use of AI in software development and engineering workflows. - Partner across product, design, data science, security, finance, business teams, clients, and technology vendors. - Guide managers and senior engineers, and step into architectural decisions or urgent technical problems when needed.

Requirements - Executive-level engineering leadership paired with strong technical depth. - Ability to lead through managers and senior engineers while engaging directly with complex technical work. - Sound judgment across architecture, delivery, security, reliability, and organizational development. - Experience scaling engineering teams and practices as products and systems become more complex. - Ability to work across functions and communicate technical decisions to varied stakeholders.
