Site Reliability Engineer

Role overview Join an early-stage Site Reliability Engineering function focused on keeping a developer infrastructure platform fast, reliable, and resilient at scale. The SRE team handles hundreds of millions of requests, minimizes downtime, and continuously improves service performance by embedding reliability into system design, observability, and incident response. This role offers the chance to shape reliability practices across the stack while collaborating closely with infrastructure and product engineering.

Responsibilities - Design and operate scalable, resilient systems across compute, networking, storage, databases, and application runtime environments - Improve observability, uptime, and performance as first-class product features - Lead and participate in incident response, including post-incident reviews and follow-up improvements - Uncover hidden failure modes by investigating systems end-to-end - Collaborate across infrastructure and product engineering to embed reliability practices - Contribute to building the team's overall SRE culture and approach to reliability at scale

Requirements - Generalist mindset comfortable working across infrastructure layers, from compute and networking to storage, databases, and app runtimes - Strong curiosity and proactive drive to understand systems end-to-end - Deep care for uptime, observability, and performance - Experience designing scalable systems and improving operational reliability - Comfort participating in incident response and on-call rotations - Ability to collaborate across teams to make reliability a shared concern

Nice to have - Prior experience as an early member of an SRE team - Background handling very high request volumes at scale - Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and orchestration platforms
