SAP SD Developer (ABAP) – AI Integration (f/m/d)

Role overview Develop and scale the SAP side of integrations that connect customers’ ERP systems with an AI platform for automating sales and procurement processes. The work combines SAP product engineering with customer implementation projects, from early technical discussions through go-live and ongoing support.

Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and customize integrations for SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. - Lead customer implementation work, including requirements workshops and deployment to production. - Advise customer technical teams on compatibility with their SAP landscape and data protection requirements. - Coordinate with product and engineering colleagues to align integration work with the product roadmap. - Identify process improvements and additional integration use cases that can deliver measurable customer value. - Support customers through the technical journey before and after implementation.

Requirements - Two to three years of hands-on SAP development experience. - Proficiency in ABAP and ABAP Objects, including delivery of an end-to-end component such as an enhancement, RFC-enabled function module, or OData service. - Experience building or consuming OData services and REST APIs, including JSON mapping and error handling. - Ability to work with ADT/Eclipse and, when needed, the classic SAP workbench. - Interest in reliably transferring AI-extracted order data into SAP, and familiarity with using AI tools in day-to-day work. - Fluent German and English; ability to explain technical decisions to customer SAP teams and participate in requirements workshops.

Nice to have - Experience with abapGit, RAP, ABAP Cloud, or BTP. - Some Python experience.
