Full Stack Software Engineer - AI-First (Java, Angular)

Role overview A fullstack engineering role focused on building and scaling a compliance automation platform that handles sensitive global workforce data. The work blends backend and frontend responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on orchestrating AI coding agents to move faster and focus on architecture rather than boilerplate. The position sits inside a small autonomous product team and reports to an engineering team lead.

Responsibilities - Partner with product managers to shape what gets built, contributing technical judgment early in the discovery process rather than only executing tickets. - Develop and maintain features across the stack, typically splitting time roughly evenly between Java with Spring Boot on the backend and Angular with TypeScript on the frontend. - Take ownership of application security for systems that process sensitive data, integrating secure-coding practices and threat-model thinking into everyday work. - Guide AI coding agents to produce scalable and well-structured output, reviewing and steering their work rather than hand-writing every line. - Carry features from system design through cloud infrastructure, deployment, and ongoing operation as part of end-to-end delivery.

Requirements - At least three years of professional software engineering experience on production systems. - Solid hands-on knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular with TypeScript, comfortable moving between backend and frontend. - Practical experience with or strong interest in AI coding agents and prompt-driven workflows. - A security-minded approach to writing code and a working understanding of modern application threat landscapes. - Self-directed working style suited to a meeting-light, results-oriented culture. - Fluency in written and spoken English.
