Staff Product Manager, AI Agents

Role overview

A vertical SaaS company is building a portfolio of AI agents for credit unions, spanning collections, origination, fraud, engagement, and activation. This role owns a single agent end to end: leading discovery with members and credit union executives, steering the first implementations, and shaping the product roadmap that follows. The next year is framed as an experimentation year, focused on listening, prototyping, and learning which use cases credit unions will actually adopt.

Responsibilities

- Run on-site discovery with credit union customers and turn insights into a sequenced roadmap with clear business outcomes, targeting production releases roughly every 4-6 weeks. - Drive at least one net-new agent go-live in the first three months, making the key decisions needed to unblock engineering and integrations. - Ship the first version of reusable integrations (core systems, loan origination, CRM) so subsequent rollouts do not require rebuilding from scratch. - Partner with other AI product managers to decide which credit unions get which agent, and in what order, balancing customer needs rather than pushing a single agent everywhere. - Hand off scaled rollout to operations once an agent is live, while retaining ownership of the product roadmap and ongoing partner conversations. - Join commercial counterparts in executive-level partner conversations and help secure commitments on direction and expansion.

Requirements

- Strong product judgment, taste, and customer intuition, with a track record of shaping products that did not fully exist before launch. - Direct B2B product management experience managing enterprise customers, negotiating scope, and pushing implementations through to completion. - Hands-on experience building something with AI and the ability to demo it; deep research credentials are welcome but curiosity plus shipped work matters most. - Comfort running a room with a credit union leadership team and selling a direction before the product is finished. - Willingness to travel, averaging roughly 20% with stretches up to 50% during critical launch windows.
