About this role
Role overview Manage a U.S. agricultural program that supports conservation-focused rice production and marketing, primarily in Arkansas and Missouri. The position combines project planning, budget and reporting oversight, partner coordination, and field implementation for a federally supported initiative.
Responsibilities - Coordinate project delivery with the project lead, staff, and internal support teams, keeping activities aligned with outcomes and organizational procedures. - Track progress against goals, maintain project tools, and help prepare work plans, budgets, forecasts, reports, and final deliverables. - Ensure project outputs and outcomes are recorded accurately in required reporting systems, including federal project reporting. - Review producer and partner documentation and contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities. - Maintain productive partner and sub-award relationships, guiding implementation in line with applicable program rules and reporting requirements. - Travel to field sites to support partners and staff; contribute to outreach through written content, presentations, or other communications.
Requirements - Demonstrated project management skills, including delivering work within scope, budget, and schedule. - Strong written and spoken English for reporting, partner relations, and project communications. - Able to manage deadlines and competing demands while maintaining accuracy and quality. - Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable with detailed administrative and communications work. - Skilled with Microsoft Office and other workplace technologies; able to work effectively with a broad range of partners. - Willing to travel domestically about two to four times per year.
Nice to have - Residence in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, DC, or Wisconsin is preferred.
Benefits and work setup - Full-time, remote role for candidates in the United States. - Listed salary range: $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience and education. A benefits package is offered.
