Role overview This is a full-time, remote customer-facing role serving as the primary point of contact for patients of a telemedicine provider focused on women's menopause care. The representative handles inquiries, resolves emerging issues, and supports both patients and internal clinical staff across phone, email, and text channels. It is an entry-to-mid level independent contractor opportunity.
Responsibilities - Respond to patient questions about products and services through text, email, and phone - Make inbound and outbound calls to address questions, concerns, and follow-ups while maintaining high service standards - Resolve patient complaints by selecting the right response strategy and acting quickly - Document patient interactions, update account records, and file relevant documents - Support physicians with specific patient requests, questions, and case details - Collaborate with internal department teams and external customers to ensure smooth support
Requirements - Prior customer service experience in a remote environment - C1 or C2 English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills - Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, Word or Google Docs, and email applications - Comfort managing several work platforms simultaneously - Self-directed time management with minimal supervision - Personal computer and reliable internet connection - Availability Thursday through Monday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM EST (training weeks run Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST)
Nice to have - Healthcare or medical field experience - Familiarity with Slack, JustCall, Intercom, Stripe, Calendly, and Google Suite
