Fullstack Engineer

Role overview Help turn complex AI capabilities into simple, joyful products by designing clear domains, robust APIs, and reliable data flows, then building just enough UI to validate ideas quickly. This fullstack role sits on a small team that treats AI as a daily collaborator, working across backend systems and lightweight frontend surfaces in a fast-evolving product environment.

Responsibilities - Own vertical slices end-to-end with a backend emphasis, from domain modeling through shipped feature. - Design and build typed HTTP APIs with Django and Django Ninja, focused on speed and clarity. - Evolve Postgres schemas safely with migrations and backfills that preserve transactional integrity. - Operate background workflows (idempotency, retries, scheduling) for durable integrations. - Instrument services with logs, metrics, and tracing and ship through CI/CD pipelines. - Build minimal interfaces in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind when it helps learning move faster.

Requirements - Strong backend foundations in HTTP, SQL, transactions, indexing, and caching. - Experience or strong eagerness to work with Django/Ninja, Postgres, typed Python, and pytest. - Comfort with containerized dev workflows using Makefiles, Docker Compose, and CI/CD. - Enough modern frontend skills (React/Next/TS/Tailwind) to be product-minded and pragmatic. - Clear written communication and a habit of shipping in small, well-documented slices. - A "you build it, you run it" mentality with domain-driven design instincts.

Nice to have - Redis, search basics, or realtime experience with Channels or WebSockets. - Infrastructure-as-code and cloud platform familiarity. - LLM product experience including evaluations, cost/latency controls, vector search, and knowledge graphs. - Exposure to event sourcing architectures.
