Senior Business Technical Consultant Treasury/SAP/Systems

Role overview This senior business and systems role shapes application architecture and long-term solutions for complex treasury and finance needs. You will lead analysis and implementation across business teams, technical groups, and vendors, while providing oversight for system design, delivery, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities - Gather and refine requirements for large, complex implementations; assess options and develop tactical and strategic solution plans. - Design and review system architectures, integrations, reporting, and process changes, and document supported technologies and procedures. - Coordinate work across Treasury, Finance, IT, Accounting, data, product, and external vendors, including delivery quality and contractual service expectations. - Guide team members, lead stakeholder discussions, and communicate technical topics in terms suited to the audience. - Investigate complex incidents, support issue resolution, protect data integrity, and identify improvements to system performance, controls, and processes. - Oversee testing, change coordination, knowledge resources, and production support, including after-hours coverage when required.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least six years in business or systems analysis. - Experience managing vendors against service commitments, building stakeholder relationships, and implementing organizational process changes. - Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with large datasets. - Advanced Excel and working knowledge of Cognos and/or SQL; able to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and conversation. - Independent judgment and flexibility to provide global, around-the-clock production support as needed.

Nice to have Experience with treasury platforms and SAP S/4HANA Treasury; cash positioning, forecasting, payments, bank connectivity, portals, and reporting interfaces; payment operations and banking controls; and data reconciliation, regression testing, automation, and audit-ready documentation. Power BI, query tools, dashboards, a CTP designation, and experience in a global or multi-entity treasury environment are also valued.
