About this role
Role overview Manage the day-to-day administration of a Workday system supporting HR and payroll operations. The role handles configuration, reporting, data quality, access controls, and user support, while partnering with an architect on larger system changes. The position is remote within the United States.
Responsibilities - Update business processes, security roles, reports, dashboards, and calculated fields. - Troubleshoot user issues, data-load errors, and integration failures, escalating complex problems when needed. - Maintain role-based access, segregation of duties, and periodic access reviews. - Build and audit EIB data loads for workforce changes, hiring, reorganizations, and compensation updates. - Test Workday releases and larger configuration or integration changes; document results and new features. - Support HR users and seasonal processes, including open enrollment and compensation reviews, while maintaining process documentation and procedures.
Requirements - A degree in HR, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - At least three years of hands-on Workday administration experience. - Understanding of Workday business processes, security groups, and report writing. - Experience with EIBs, calculated fields, and basic integration troubleshooting. - Careful handling of sensitive HR and payroll data, with the ability to manage several support requests at once. - Eligibility under U.S. export regulations to work with any required controlled information or authorizations.

Benefits and work setup The role is remote in the United States, with occasional annual travel estimated at 5–10%. The stated base salary range is $80,000–$115,000.
