About this role
Role overview A senior individual contributor role designing and implementing the data workflows, integrations, and pipelines that connect enterprise manufacturing systems into a governed, end-to-end data ecosystem. The position enables traceability, operational visibility, and regulatory compliance across multi-site production operations in the space, defense, and national security sector.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain data integration workflows connecting MES, ERP, PLM, QMS, and supporting enterprise platforms. - Develop integration pipelines between systems such as Apriso (Delmia), NetSuite, ForProject, Empower, and 3DX PLM. - Architect API-based, event-driven, and batch integration patterns across cloud and on-premises environments. - Build data flows supporting grain-level and sublot traceability, compliance checkpoints, e-signatures, and hold-point validations. - Build and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines with full lineage, observability, and auditability. - Manage infrastructure-as-code for data integration resources using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, data engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience with certifications. - 12–15+ years of data engineering or enterprise integration experience, with significant time in manufacturing or industrial environments. - Hands-on experience integrating MES and ERP platforms in a production manufacturing setting, ideally regulated (aerospace, defense, or ATF-licensed). - Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-system integration projects from design through production go-live. - Strong communicator who can translate shop-floor requirements into integration designs and document work as production-grade artifacts. - Eligibility to obtain required U.S. export authorizations under ITAR/EAR; U.S. Person status required; security clearance preferred.
Nice to have - Experience supporting multi-site technology rollouts. - Familiarity with PLC/SCADA data integration (OPC-UA, historian databases), automated traceability systems, and tools like Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
