Role overview A developer relations position centered on the open source community for a data and AI platform used heavily in computer vision and machine learning workflows. The role combines hands-on technical support, original content creation, integration development, and community engagement aimed at robotics and autonomy practitioners. It is fully remote within the United States.
Responsibilities - Provide technical answers to open source users across community channels, including those facing real-world robotics deployment challenges - Author original blogs, tutorials, and documentation covering robot learning and data infrastructure topics such as VLAs, world models, and sim-to-real pipelines - Self-produce short-form and long-form videos exploring technical subjects relevant to robotics practitioners - Create and deliver original courses online and in-person on computer vision and ML applied to robotics - Build code integrations connecting the open source platform with robotics-specific simulators, sensor data formats, and perception frameworks - Help organize community events such as meetups and hackathons, and speak at in-person and virtual conferences
Requirements - 3+ years of professional ML experience with direct computer vision work on robotics systems (perception, navigation, manipulation, or autonomous vehicles) - MS or PhD in computer science, robotics, or a related field with a computer vision emphasis - Hands-on experience with robotics data tools, including multimodal sensor formats and simulators - Proficiency in Python and ML/scientific computing libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and NumPy - Strong writing skills and proficiency with screen recording and editing tools - Portfolio links to published writing, public talks, open source participation, and visible GitHub code - Ability to thrive in a remote-first, collaborative environment using shared development tools

Benefits and work setup - Cash compensation range of $190K–$240K plus equity in the form of options - Fully remote within the United States
