Working student AI automation with n8n and Python (m/f/d)

Role overview As a working student, build automations that reduce repetitive work for businesses, using n8n, Python and language model APIs. You’ll connect everyday tools and data sources, make workflows resilient to errors, and document them so they can be maintained after handover.

Responsibilities - Build and extend n8n workflows that connect forms, email, databases and online stores. - Write Python scripts for tasks such as cleaning data or extracting information from web pages. - Integrate language model APIs and design prompts that return structured results reliably. - Test workflows with anonymized sample data, investigate failures and add checks or alerts. - Document workflows for teammates and client-side users.

Requirements - Enrollment at a university in Germany in computer science, business informatics, data science or a related field. - Previous Python experience from studies, personal projects or work. - Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON. - Ability to work independently and raise questions when blocked. - Good German for communication with German-speaking clients.

Nice to have - Initial experience with n8n, Make or Zapier, basic SQL, or a small automation project to share.

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote within Germany, starting from 10 November 2026, for at least six months. - Work 10–20 hours per week, with more hours possible during semester breaks. - Contribute to live client projects, with a dedicated contact and regular check-ins. - Access to tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and n8n; a longer collaboration after graduation may be possible depending on fit.
