Freelance AI image generation for product images (m/f/d)

Role overview Develop and refine AI image prompts and workflows that help online stores create product imagery without arranging photo shoots. You’ll focus on producing consistent images across a collection while preserving important product details such as color, pattern, material and fit.

Responsibilities - Design prompts that guide image style, lighting, background and perspective across products and campaigns. - Choose and prepare reference photos to retain the product’s defining details in generated images. - Maintain prompts for collections, seasons and campaigns, recording which approaches work well. - Review generated images for errors or invented details, and define practical quality checks. - Compare new image models with existing workflows and assess whether they improve results.

Requirements - Hands-on experience generating AI images, preferably for products, fashion or e-commerce. - A good eye for composition, color and lighting, developed through photography, editing, design or related work. - A methodical approach to documenting prompts and results so others can reuse them. - Confidence using an image-editing program for finishing and quality checks. - Ability to communicate in German or English. - Freelance status and residence in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Nice to have - Experience with Nano Banana, image APIs or automated workflows. - A portfolio, for example on Behance, Dribbble or a personal website.

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote, project-based freelance work, starting from 12 November 2026; scope and hours are agreed by arrangement. - Work with product collections intended for live online stores, with a dedicated contact and regular check-ins on style, approvals and timing. - Access to current image and language models, including Nano Banana, Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT. - Further projects or a longer collaboration may be possible, depending on results.
