Requirements - At least five years in developer advocacy, developer experience, evangelism, or hands-on SRE or observability work with substantial public output. - Production experience with at least two observability technologies, such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or related metrics and tracing systems. - Ability to read and write Go, investigate source code, and contribute small code changes. - Fluency with PromQL or MetricsQL, including troubleshooting slow queries. - Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including operating stateful workloads in production. - A public technical track record, such as writing, conference talks, open-source work, or a substantial GitHub presence. - Strong written and verbal communication, including confidence presenting to technically demanding audiences.
Nice to have - Experience with open-source monitoring and observability tools. - Prior customer-facing work and speaking at technical conferences, especially observability or cloud-native events.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote role with flexible hours and an async-friendly team. - Salary benchmarked against the North American market. - Direct collaboration with engineering, product, and marketing teams, with autonomy to shape community work.
