Product Designer

Role overview This is a senior product design role on a small team that treats design as a systems discipline rather than decoration. The designer will own design end to end on client engagements, from discovery through handoff. It is a fully remote position with direct client contact and no project manager intermediary.

Responsibilities - Lead design on client engagements from discovery through production handoff - Build and maintain design systems that engineers can implement directly - Work directly with clients without a PM layer between them and the design work - Push back on requirements when the underlying design problem is being solved incorrectly - Own motion and interaction design rather than only static comps

Requirements - Deep Figma expertise and a portfolio of shipped product work - Understanding of frontend constraints from working closely with engineers - Strong opinions on typography, spacing, and details others often skip - Comfort with ambiguity and scoping design engagements independently - A stance that design should improve how products work, not just how they look
