About this role
Role overview Maintain and support network infrastructure that underpins technology services for external clients. You’ll handle operational requests and incidents, strengthen reliability and security, and work with internal teams, carriers, and vendors on network performance and service continuity.
Responsibilities - Resolve network service requests, incidents, problem investigations, and change tasks. - Maintain network stability, resilience, and security through device upgrades, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and alert response. - Participate in operational work such as standardization, compliance tasks, capacity planning, and improvements to network monitoring. - Monitor client telecom circuits and coordinate with carriers and vendors to troubleshoot service interruptions and improve performance. - Join incident triage calls and provide after-hours or weekend coverage as part of an on-call rotation. - Provide technical guidance and customer service to external clients, vendors, and internal teams; contribute to incident analysis and root cause identification.
Requirements - Two to five years of relevant network administration experience. - Strong experience configuring and maintaining Cisco routing and switching equipment. - CCNA certification or equivalent practical experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. - Troubleshooting and analytical skills, with experience supporting network layers 1 through 4 highly valued. - Experience supporting security policies in a PCI-compliant environment. - Relevant cloud certifications or experience with Azure or AWS, or equivalent knowledge.
Nice to have Knowledge of SD-WAN, Wireshark, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
Benefits and work setup The position is remote and follows a four-day, ten-hour schedule, Monday through Thursday, with stated hours of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern.
