Senior Database Developer

Role overview A data resilience and analytics team is looking for a Senior Database Developer to extend and modernize its monitoring and reporting product line. The work blends hands-on SQL engineering with leadership, covering schema design, query optimization, and the creation of new dashboards that surface insight to large enterprise customers. The role is based in Poland and operates remotely within the country.

Responsibilities - Develop and support database schemas, objects, complex queries, and stored procedures across MS SQL and PostgreSQL - Optimize existing structures, indexes, and code for performance and reliability - Build and modernize reports, widgets, and dashboards for the analytics platform - Refactor business logic to align with evolving product and customer requirements - Partner closely with analysts and QA throughout the delivery cycle - Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code review for the team

Requirements - At least 5 years of professional database development experience - Strong, hands-on experience with MS SQL and PostgreSQL in production environments - Solid grasp of relational design, indexing, transactions, and query execution plans - Track record writing complex T-SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures - Ability to read and maintain code written by others - Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience

Nice to have - Working familiarity with C# backend development to coordinate cleanly with application-layer teams
