Role overview A frontend engineering role focused on building and extending user interface components for a commercial web application using React. The position covers the full UI lifecycle, from developing new dialogs, wizards, and forms, to customizing styles and design themes, to diagnosing and preventing runtime issues such as memory leaks and inefficient traffic patterns. It suits an engineer with solid modern JavaScript fundamentals who enjoys working close to the design and component layer.
Responsibilities - Develop UI elements such as dialogs, wizards, and forms using React. - Extend the functionality of existing components and shared design primitives. - Customize styles and implement design themes based on layout specifications. - Diagnose and prevent issues with memory leaks and traffic optimization in the frontend stack. - Contribute to a modern build and tooling environment using Webpack, Babel, and related toolchains.
Requirements - 2+ years of experience with commercial web application development. - Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript including ES5, ES6, and ESNext, plus CSS using SASS or styled-components, and HTML5. - Hands-on experience with TypeScript and React. - English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams.
Nice to have - Familiarity with the operational details of different browsers. - Experience with TFS or Git version control. - Examples of public projects on GitHub. - Experience with Visual Studio Code or a similar IDE.
