Role overview

This engineering management role leads two product squads responsible for putting inbound customer security assessments on autopilot and powering a public-facing trust center. It is an execution-first position in a high-visibility product area where the roadmap is already defined and product-market fit has been validated, sitting at the intersection of agentic AI innovation and enterprise expansion.

Responsibilities

- Lead two engineering squads against a clear product roadmap, delivering consistently and sustainably - Establish a high-accountability delivery culture, including weekly goal tracking, tech spec reviews, and proactive project visibility - Partner closely with product and design to shape priorities, negotiate tradeoffs, and ensure engineering has a strong voice in what gets built - Engage meaningfully in technical decisions, reading specs, joining architecture discussions, and guiding engineers without personally writing all the code - Recruit, develop, and retain strong engineers, mentoring and upleveling senior individual contributors - Collaborate cross-functionally with go-to-market, the internal AI platform team, and other partners to identify opportunities, clear blockers, and ship for the business

Requirements

- 2+ years of full-time engineering management experience leading teams of 6-8 or more engineers - Track record of running high-execution teams with disciplined delivery practices such as tech spec reviews and weekly tracking - Experience managing and growing senior individual contributors - Product engineering background building customer-facing software, rather than primarily infrastructure or platform work - Comfortable in architecture discussions, able to read specs critically and make informed tradeoff calls - Demonstrated ability to shape product and long-term technical strategy in close partnership with a product manager - Uses AI tools in day-to-day work to amplify output while exercising sound judgment on quality
