Job details
About this role
Role overview Lead a marketing analytics and data science team that helps determine which acquisition channels are working, how to improve them, and how investment should be allocated. The team measures marketing against the full customer journey through approved and funded loans, so the work connects channel performance to business outcomes rather than relying only on intermediate metrics.
Responsibilities - Lead analysts and data scientists embedded across marketing channels, owning the quality and impact of their work. - Set an experimentation agenda across channels and make sure findings inform real marketing decisions. - Guide analysis into the causes of performance changes and practical next steps for channel teams. - Maintain high standards for incrementality testing, attribution, reporting, and analytical outputs. - Partner with marketing, finance, and product leaders to set priorities and keep the team's roadmap tied to business needs. - Hire, coach, and develop the team, while encouraging proactive analysis that surfaces new risks and opportunities.
Requirements - 10 or more years in data science or analytics, including at least 5 years managing analysts and data scientists. - Broad technical understanding of marketing measurement, experiments, causal inference, attribution, and reporting, with judgment about which methods fit each question. - Working knowledge of SQL and Python sufficient to review the team's work. - A track record of hiring effectively and helping team members advance. - Strong judgment in ambiguous areas and ability to frame useful questions without a predefined playbook. - Skill in partnering with business leaders and translating analysis into decisions.
Nice to have - A master's or doctoral degree in statistics, economics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline. - Experience introducing AI tools into analysis and reporting workflows.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role with a digital-first team operating across U.S. and Canadian locations; team onsites are typically held once or twice per quarter for a few days. - Benefits include health coverage, retirement contributions, paid leave, family support, wellness and productivity allowances, and equity programs. Availability varies by country.
