Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Build and operate a feature-management platform that helps development teams control how software changes reach production. You’ll take product work from understanding developer needs through implementation and ongoing improvement, contributing across frontend and backend systems while considering reliability and the experience of users in production.

Responsibilities - Work with product managers and designers to understand developer needs and explore ideas through discussion, prototypes, or experiments. - Design, implement, and ship features, taking ownership through deployment and subsequent improvements. - Maintain engineering quality across frontend and backend code, improving performance, reliability, and maintainability. - Apply reliability practices and automate operational tasks to reduce manual work and improve stability. - Engage with developers to understand how the platform is used, review feedback, and help investigate customer incidents.

Requirements - At least seven years of experience building and operating software systems. - Interest in solving user problems and understanding how software behaves in production. - Ability to work across the full development lifecycle, from early product discovery through delivery and operation. - Willingness to take ownership, collaborate with product and engineering partners, and contribute to dependable software.

Nice to have - Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or AWS, the technologies identified for the platform.
