Front-end Developer

Role overview Build and improve the front end of a feature management platform that helps software teams release changes gradually, experiment with alternatives, and reduce the risks of deployment. The work spans the open-source and commercial product, along with related components and systems, and includes collaboration with users and the developer community.

Responsibilities - Shape the front-end architecture and develop product features for both open-source and commercial offerings. - Improve SDKs, edge components, and other supporting or internal systems where front-end work is needed. - Apply strong interface engineering and domain modeling to make complex capabilities usable. - Engage with open-source contributors and share technical knowledge with development teams. - Support customers and community users as they work with the product. - Use user needs and available data to guide technical and experience decisions.

Requirements - Extensive front-end development experience, particularly with React and TypeScript; the role description indicates around eight years. - Experience with front-end architecture, advanced CSS, API design, and modeling complex domains with types. - Collaborative approach that respects differing opinions. - Curiosity about users and empathy for how they work with the product. - Analytical, data-informed decision-making, with judgment about when to move quickly.

Nice to have - Experience with, or interest in, additional languages such as Java, PHP, Swift, or Go.
