About this role
Role overview Develop the server-side systems behind a feature management platform that lets software teams release changes incrementally and run experiments with lower deployment risk. The work covers open-source and commercial products as well as SDKs, edge components, and supporting systems, with regular input from customers and the developer community.
Responsibilities - Design and build backend capabilities across open-source and commercial product versions. - Improve SDKs, edge services, peripheral components, and internal systems. - Work with the open-source community and share practical knowledge with development teams. - Help customers and community users resolve questions and use the platform effectively. - Make technical decisions informed by product data and user needs.
Requirements - Extensive backend development experience, especially with Node.js and TypeScript; the role description indicates around eight years. - Experience with AWS, REST APIs, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL. - Ability to collaborate constructively and respect different perspectives. - Empathy for users and curiosity about how they use the product. - Analytical approach to technical decisions, paired with sound judgment about when to act quickly.
Nice to have - Experience with, or interest in, languages such as PHP, Go, Swift, or C++.
