Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview

This role owns the infrastructure, automation, and reliability of a warranty management platform serving e-commerce brands. The engineer designs cloud systems, builds deployment pipelines, and ensures monitoring, security, and compliance across services that handle high transaction volumes in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure - Implement infrastructure-as-code and orchestration tooling for repeatable deployments - Develop automation and tooling using Bash, Python, and related scripting languages - Operate and improve monitoring and alerting using tools like Datadog, Grafana, and PagerDuty - Apply security best practices and support compliance requirements across the stack

Requirements

- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure - Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and orchestration tooling - Scripting skills in Bash and Python, plus experience with automation frameworks - Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and PagerDuty - Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

Nice to have

- Production Kubernetes experience - Background in SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance - Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies - Experience scaling systems that handle millions of transactions
