About this role
Role overview Help developers understand and adopt authentication and identity tools by combining hands-on engineering with customer-facing technical support. You’ll guide implementation work, investigate integration issues, relay customer feedback to product teams, and contribute code and improvements as the platform evolves.
Responsibilities - Advise customers on product capabilities and help them plan and troubleshoot integrations. - Debug customer code, SDKs, and open-source libraries to identify root causes. - Build product features and fix bugs, including small, well-tested changes to existing codebases. - Bring customer feedback to product, design, and engineering teams, and help close the loop on issues. - Improve documentation and processes for both customers and internal teams.
Requirements - At least two years of hands-on programming experience building, debugging, or automating software in a support, solutions, or engineering role. - Ability to investigate difficult technical problems and identify root causes. - Experience debugging code written by others and delivering tested fixes. - Familiarity with modern web services and APIs. - Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs.
Nice to have - Experience with SAML, OAuth, multi-factor authentication, or identity providers. - Background in customer-facing technical work such as support, solutions engineering, or field engineering. - Experience on a software development or product team.
