Enterprise Solutions Engineer

Role overview This contract Enterprise Solutions Engineer role supports enterprise customers running mission-critical software that depends on application virtualization, streaming, and containerization technology. The position owns outcomes end-to-end, from discovery and design through packaging, deployment, and ongoing customer success, while also feeding product improvements back into engineering. It is a remote contractor engagement based in Europe or the US East Coast timezone, with occasional on-site customer travel.

Responsibilities - Own discovery, design, implementation, and adoption of enterprise application delivery solutions end-to-end. - Analyze application portfolios and deployment requirements, then package and containerize applications for reliable distribution. - Reproduce, diagnose, and resolve complex application compatibility and deployment issues across operating systems and networks. - Turn customer problems into actionable product work by writing clear repros, validating fixes, and testing builds with engineering. - Produce concise documentation including packaging steps, test results, and troubleshooting guides. - Manage multiple enterprise engagements independently, planning workload and communicating status proactively.

Requirements - Strong Windows application packaging and containerization skills, including hands-on use of the relevant studio or equivalent tooling. - Advanced troubleshooting ability: reproducing issues, isolating variables, interpreting traces, and performing root-cause analysis across application, OS, and network layers. - Excellent written and verbal communication with developers, testers, admins, and customers. - Independent, methodical, solution-oriented working style with a willingness to partner on fixes and release validation. - Self-starter mindset that delivers outcomes without close hand-holding.

Nice to have - Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer work. - Background participating in product specs and release validation with engineering teams.
