About this role

Role overview

A Power Platform Developer is needed to design, build, and maintain scalable applications and automations within a federal customer environment. The work centers on hands-on development of canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power Pages solutions that streamline and modernize organizational business processes.

Responsibilities

- Develop and enhance Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages solutions. - Configure and maintain Microsoft Dataverse tables, forms, views, and business rules. - Build and sustain Power Automate workflows and approval processes. - Support migration of legacy business processes from .NET, C#, and JavaScript stacks onto Power Platform. - Participate in requirements analysis, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design sessions. - Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing support. - Troubleshoot defects and drive corrective actions across development and production. - Develop technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials. - Support production deployments, operational maintenance, and release management. - Ensure solutions comply with federal security, privacy, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Requirements

- Five or more years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions. - Hands-on experience migrating legacy .NET, C#, and JavaScript applications to modern Power Platform. - Strong working knowledge of Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Azure services. - Experience working within Agile development teams and on Scrum ceremonies. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. - Ability to obtain and maintain federal government background investigation requirements. - Minimum of eight years of total IT experience. - Experience with Azure B2C or Login.gov integration patterns. - Demonstrated communication skills for stakeholder demos and team coordination. - US citizenship required.

Nice to have

- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Azure, or Dynamics 365. - Prior experience supporting HHS, CDC, or other federal agencies. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Section 508 accessibility standards. - Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SQL Server, APIs, and Microsoft 365 services.
