About this role
Role overview The Vice President of Technology partners with senior leadership to translate business strategy into a scalable, secure, and AI-aware technology platform. The role balances strategic planning with technical execution, owning cloud architecture, data systems, and engineering practices across the organization.
Responsibilities - Define and drive the engineering strategy, architecture, and technical standards - Lead and grow engineering, DevOps, and data teams in a remote, high-velocity environment - Oversee cloud architecture decisions on AWS, GCP, or Azure to support rapid scaling - Establish and enforce CI/CD, data pipeline, and security best practices across services - Partner with product and executive teams to prioritize initiatives and deliver business outcomes - Stay current on AI/ML ecosystems and modern frameworks to guide technology choices
Requirements - Extensive leadership experience in technology roles within product-led or platform companies - Deep understanding of cloud architecture and scalable system design on AWS, GCP, or Azure - Strong grasp of AI/ML ecosystems and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch - Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, data pipelines, and security best practices - Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed technical execution - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
