DevOps Cloud Architect (Azure)

Role overview The DevOps Cloud Architect (Azure) will design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering a growing AI platform. This remote role blends hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable Azure environments.

Responsibilities - Architect and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates - Build and manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) - Establish CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control workflows - Apply security and compliance best practices across cloud environments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scalable microservices deployments

Requirements - Proven experience with Microsoft Azure architecture and infrastructure - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) - Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (AKS) - Solid experience with Git version control systems - Understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments - Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have - Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 - Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS or GCP) - Hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices - Knowledge of microservices architecture - Leadership or mentoring capabilities
