Senior Mobile Engineer - Wallets

Role overview

A senior mobile engineer is sought to join a decentralised applications engineering unit, working on the team that builds a flagship mobile wallet for a Web3 ecosystem. The role spans new feature development as well as the chance to construct parts of the application from the ground up. It suits someone energised by blockchain technology, comfortable with high autonomy, and eager to shape a consumer-facing crypto product alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

- Lead projects end to end, covering design, implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance - Tackle problems that cross frontend, backend, and on-chain integration layers - Develop and maintain React Native features and UI components that feel polished and intuitive - Partner with backend, blockchain, and design counterparts to deliver cohesive user experiences - Champion code quality through reviews, automated testing, and disciplined engineering practices - Contribute to architectural conversations that steer the wallet's long-term direction

Requirements

- Proven React Native experience on production mobile development projects - Solid computer science fundamentals spanning algorithms, data structures, and concurrency - A creative approach to problem solving, comfortable designing solutions for complex, ambiguous challenges - Background building user-friendly interfaces in a product-focused environment - Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style - Working knowledge of version control, code review, and continuous integration

Nice to have

- Prior experience building mobile wallets or other decentralised applications - Exposure to EVM-compatible or self-amending blockchain environments - Comfort contributing to architecture decisions on consumer-facing products
