AI Product Designer (US Based)

Role overview Lead product and UX design for digital initiatives that incorporate artificial intelligence, working with clients and multidisciplinary delivery teams from discovery through implementation. The role combines hands-on interface design and rapid prototyping with facilitation, stakeholder communication, and design leadership across projects.

Responsibilities - Lead design discovery and help clients clarify goals, needs, and potential solutions. - Apply user-centered design methods and use research, testing, and feedback to guide iterations. - Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and production-ready design assets for clients and developers. - Explore AI-enabled experiences and use AI tools to build prototypes and gather user feedback. - Collaborate with product managers, engineering, quality assurance, and sales through delivery. - Present design recommendations, manage stakeholder communication, and contribute to project-level decisions with limited guidance. - Support design quality through constructive feedback, mentoring, and improvements to team processes.

Requirements - Three to five years in product design or UX/UI design, with a portfolio showing relevant work. - Strong command of core UX practices and design tools, including Figma. - Experience designing AI-native interfaces and using AI in the design workflow, including rapid prototyping and feedback collection. - Attention to detail in interaction design, typography, and visual quality. - Ability to iterate quickly, incorporate feedback, and guide product decisions through user testing. - Initiative, ownership, and effective collaboration with product, engineering, and business partners.

Nice to have - Consulting experience or confidence presenting to senior stakeholders. - Experience in news, sports media, or mobile banking. - Strong written and verbal communication, adaptability, and ability to manage shifting priorities.
